On Friday Afternoon Webster County Public Health released an update on covid-19. As of Friday, Webster County has 146 positive covid-19 cases. Public Health says 106 of those have recovered and been released from isolation. The majority of positive cases are in the 18-40 age range. The age breakdown and statement is below.
 The age breakdown for Webster County cases is as follows: 10 children (0-17), 75 adults (18-40), 39 middle age adults (41-60), 19 older adults (61-80). and 3 elderly (81+).
 
Webster County Public Health continues to remind residents that the COVID-19 virus is still very much in our communities and continuing to spread. It is important that residents continue to follow our guidance so that we can lessen the spread of COVID-19. Please wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, and sanitize surfaces that are commonly touched. Cover coughs and sneezes, and stay home if you aren’t feeling well, have been contacted by public health, if are age 65 or older, have underlying medical conditions, or if you aren’t comfortable being around others yet.
