Webster County Public Health Releases Covid-19 Update Tuesday Afternoon

The Webster County Public Health Dept. released a Covid-19 update Tuesday Afternoon. That update is below.

The cumulative count of COVID-19 positive cases in Webster County has increased to 1,641, an increase of 67 cases since last Friday’s report.
1,531 individuals have met the CDC’s requirements for recovery and have been released from public health isolation. 110 cases are currently open, have been contact traced, and are currently being monitored by Webster County Health Department.
The age breakdown of cumulative cases is as follows: 102 children (0-17), 739 adults (18-40), 509 middle-aged adults (41-60), 235 older adults (61-80), and 56 elderly (81+).
Webster County Health Department strongly encourages residents to wear a mask when out in public and around others that you do not know their exposure risks. Be diligent about washing hands and stay home if you are not feeling well and aren’t sure if your symptoms are COVID related.
