A Webster County Teenager has been charged after allegedly robbing a man in early January. 17 year old, Fort Dodge resident Davaris Shivers faces charges of 1st degree robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon. Police say, Shivers entered a residence on South 12th Street in Fort Dodge on January 4th and committed a robbery while pointing a gun. Shivers was arrested in Hardin County last week on a charge separated from the January 4th incident in Fort Dodge. Police reports, say that Shivers admitted to Fort Dodge robbery after he was questioned following the Hardin County arrest. Shivers was convicted of a crime as a juvenile that would disallow him from possessing a gun. Shivers is scheduled to appear in court later this month.
