Webster County’s Newest Law Enforcement Duo Gets To Work

The first week on the job for the Webster County Sheriff’s Office newest team has been a pretty productive one.

According to Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Derek Christie, in a week’s time Deputy Tyler Holbrook and newly appointed K9 officer Stano have assisted in 4 narcotics arrests and 1 Federal Fugitive arrest.

The fugitive arrest was made on Monday after deputies received reports that a fugitive with outstanding state and federal warrants was hiding out at a residence in Fort Dodge. K9 Stano was deployed at the front door of the residence. The subject ultimately surrendered and was taken into custody without incident.
