Williams Gets Life Sentence In Lu Verne Murder Case

35 year old Valentino Williams of Coralville changed his plea from not guilty to guilty in the Lu Verne bank robbery that turned fatal. Williams has been sentenced to life in prison. The murder charge stems from a Dec. 4th incident in which Williams shot and killed a bank employee. 43 year old Jessica Weishaar of Algona was found lying on the sidewalk in front of the bank when police arrived around 8:40 AM on Dec. 4th. Williams was apprehended about an hour later after a traffic stop. A black duffel bag and burglary tools were found in the SUV Williams rented and it matched the vehicle description given by an eye witness.
