This Saturday River Hops Brewing here in Fort Dodge will host the “Wing Fling” event in an effort to help raise money for the 2021 “Rib Ruckus”. The 2019 edition of “Rib Ruckus” on Fort Dodge’s City Square was well received, but the 2020 edition of the event was cancelled due to the the covid-19 pandemic. The “Wing Fling” will be a bags tournament and wing fest this Saturday. Here’s the organizer Tim Mapel on the event.

Entry Fee for bags tournament will be $50 per two person team and will be a double elimination format. The event will be free admission but will be accepting free will donations to go toward funding the 2021 “Rib Ruckus”. The food is expected to be served at 5 PM while supplies last. Tim Mapel says that money raised toward “Rib Ruckus” will help them put that event on, which in turn they hope to be able to raise money to donate to a cause in the community

Saturday’s “Wing Fling” event will also feature live music from Clint Riedel & The Truth starting at 4 Pm and Lone Tree Revival will play around 7 PM.
