Although Fort Dodge Baseball & Softball and St. Edmond Softball all had nights off on Friday, their was still plenty of area teams in action. Algona Baseball earned a 4-3 win vs Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. Bulldogs scored 3 in the 5th to break a 1-1 tie. Cowboys got 2 in the 6th to close the gap to one run but Algona would hold them in the 7th to take the win. Cameron Rindone with 2 RBI’s for Algona, Aaron Weringa the win on the hill a complete game, allowing 3 runs while striking out 8.

Fort Dodge Softball And Baseball back in action Monday July 6th they both travel to Des Moines- Hoover for double header action starting at 5 PM. St. Edmond Softball back in action Monday as well they travel to take on Iowa Falls- Alden.
