Capitol Staffer Who Was In The Building During Invasion Tells Her Story

A staff member who works in the U.S. Capitol and was in the building during last week’s invasion has spoken out about the events that took place. Speaking with Rob Jones under the condition of anonymity, she said that a bomb threat proceeded the insurgence into the building. She originally thought the threat was a hoax due to the number of threats that are made toward Capitol Hill. She said her emotions took over when she realized the Capitol was being invaded.

She went onto say that she and her colleagues tried to evacuate from the building but couldn’t do so in time.

This staff member says that she was taken back in thinking this could happen at the Capitol.

She says she was overwhelmed that the people involved were her own countrymen.

Fortunately, this staff member was uninjured in the incident. The full length  audio of her telling her story with air on “Dodger Weekly” with Rob Jones on KVFD AM 1400, Friday January 15th in the 8 AM hour. After it airs it will be made available here on our website.
