Full Class 1A Results From State Wrestling- at 106 West Hancock’s Evan Boothroyd lost twice and has been eliminated. 113 Donavan Hanson of West Bend-Mallard won and will advance. 120 St. Edmond’s Ryan Duckett dropped his 1st one but won his wrestle back and is still alive, same for Pocahontas Area’s Tyce Ruffridge. Kellen Smith of West Hancock defeated Ruffridge in 1st match. 145- South Central Calhoun’s Kevin King dropped both matches and is eliminated. 152- Kane Zuehl of West Hancock lost twice and is eliminated. 160- Bryer Subject of West hancock won 8-6 in Ot and advanced. 160 Garrett Quirk of ESC dropped both of his matches. 170 SCC’s Blake Mcalister won by fall and advanced. 195 Matt Francis of West Hancock won and advanced 6-0. at 220 Jayden Soard of SCC dropped his 1st one but won his wrestle back to stay alive. at 285 Pocahontas Area’s Dane Johnson won his match by pin to advance. Justin Rupnow of ESC dropped both of his matches and has been eliminated.
