The Webster County Public Health Dept. released a statement Monday afternoon that said the confirmed number of covid-19 cases is now at 10. Of those cases, four are adults ages 18-40, four are middle aged adults ages 41-60 and two are older adults ages 61-80. Kari Prescott The Director Of Webster County Public Health said ” “It is important to remember that our numbers will ebb and flow back and forth as positive tests are received and disease investigations completed.“Once we validate residency and contact tracing for each positive patient, we will update the public with factual information.” There is quite a bit of misinformation being spread on social media. Webster County Public Health will contact all identified contacts who may have been exposed to a positive patient and will always update the public with necessary information”.
