Fort Dodge Baseball Coach Blake Utley Talks 5-2 Week & Progression Thus Far

Coach Blake Utley knows that the level of competition his squad plays, is as high as any in Iowa. The Dodgers started the season with some struggles in the 1st week. However, they were able to progress in week two. The second week started with two wins on Memorial Day in the St. Edmond Tournament at Rogers Park. The Dodgers were then able to work a split at Ankeny Centennial. They dropped a one run heart breaker, at Principal Park in Des Moines to Southeast Polk. The Dodgers put it together Friday night for a sweep of Sioux City North at Mcneil Field. Coach Utley joined Rob Jones on “Coaches Corner” Saturday morning on 99.7 FM and here on our website to talk about it.
