HS Hoops Report: Manson Girls Rally To Win, St. Edmond Boys Win After Strong 2nd Half Monday & Tuesday’s Line Up
In games hard on “Sunny” 99.7 FM on Monday Night, St. Edmond split with rival Manson NW Webster. In the girls game, St. Edmond led 20-13 at the half. Manson NW Webster had a strong second half outscoring St. Edmond 19-6 in the 3rd. Cougars would them to 10 2nd half points to go on to win 48-30. Chloe Peterson had a game high 18 to lead Manson NW Webster and Leah Neverman led St. Edmond with 12.
In the boys game, St. Edmond would get the win 56-43. St. Edmond led by 7 at the half but would get hot shooting the ball in the 2nd half. They would go on an 18-5 3rd quarter run.
KC Meiners on the call of the Quinten McCarville made 3, it was one of his three 3’s int he 3rd quarter run. He finished with 12, making four 3’s in the game. Hayden Mayer led the Gaels with a game high 16.
St. Edmond is back in action for the second of back to back games on Tuesday Night. The Gaels host Clarion-Goldfield-Dows. St. Edmond Girls will look for retribution after a loss to them in early December. The St. Edmond Boys will look for the season sweep after a win over the Cowboys that same night. On “92 Rock” Fort Dodge is back in action hosting Urbandale. The Dodger Girls and Boys programs are looking to get off the losing skid and into the win column for the first time in 2021. Both Dodger teams are looking for some retribution after dropping the only meeting with Urbandale on the road last year by a wide margin. Pregame coverage begins at 6 PM, Girls tip at 6:15 with the Boys to follow.

The Titan Girls look to continue their momentum after a win Saturday Night at Alta-Aurelia. That win broke their two game losing slide. The Titan Boys look to bounce back after falling at Alta-Aurelia on Saturday. Girls tip off scheduled for 6 PM, with Boys to follow.
