Olsen Park Splashpad Now Open

Olsen Park Splashpad is now open for the summer season. The city of Fort Dodge Parks & Rec. Dept. released a statement regarding the opening. in that statement they listed covid-19 related restrictions on the facility. The statement is below.

We are ready to open the splashpad for summer fun starting today. Again, due to COVID-19
there are certain restrictions placed on water play facilities by the Governor of Iowa, we all need
to comply with the modifications in order to keep this facility open safely this summer.
• 25 person capacity inside the fence at a time. We are asking everyone to please comply
with this restriction. This number count includes those watching and those playing in the
water. Please have a conversation with your children!
• Maintain 6’ social distancing while at play in the splashpad.
• No tables or benches are available, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs.
• No facility rentals this year.
• If you are feeling sick, please stay home.
• Temperature free for 72 hours.
• Please wash your hands with soap and water frequently.
• 7 days a week from 11 am to 7 pm weather permitting.
