St. Edmond Coach Matt Dillon Talks Successful Season & Heartbreaking Playoff Loss

St. Edmond Matt Dillon is an “old school” type coach and he responds to the media in the high points of the season and the low points. He does so with grace and conviction consistently which is commendable. Coach Dillon joined Rob Jones Saturday Morning for the “Hy-Vee Fort Dodge Coaches Corner” on “Sunny” 99.7. His appearance on the show was less than 12 hours after St. Edmond dropped a heart breaker to Madrid in the playoffs 41-38. Dillon and Jones talked about the successful season for St. Edmond finishing 5-3 matching the program’s best win total since 2015. They talked about game against Madrid which was a back and forth high drama affair. Madrid scored on a TD run with less than a minute left to go up for good 41-38.
