Three Vehicle Accident On Hwy 20 Tuesday

An accident involving 3 vehicles including a semi-truck in Webster County Tuesday afternoon resulted in no serious injuries. The eastbound lanes of Hwy 20 were closed for a period of time as a result, the accident happened just after 1 pm Tuesday.  The semi-truck which was driven by 69 year old Olin Van Houtin rear ended a pick up truck that was turning onto Union Avenue. The pick up truck then went off the road and hit another pick up truck that was sitting at a stop sign. Van Houtin was cited by The Iowa State Patrol for causing the accident.
