1A Wrestling Sectional Results

The 1A wrestling sectionals were packed full of action this past Saturday Feb. 8th. The Alpha Media Fort Dodge stations had coverage of both the Manson NW Webster sectional and the Woodbury Central- Moville sectional that featured South Central Calhoun and East Sac County. Here are the results from Manson NW Webster

106- Donavon Hanson of West Bend-Mallard 1st, Tyce Ruffridge of Pocahontas Area 2nd.

113- Tyler Stein Of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows took 1st with Eagle Grove’s Jacob Graham 2nd.

120- Gabe Rolon Of Eagle Grove 1st, Cale Kirstein of Clarion-Goldfield-Dows was 2nd.

126- Caron Collins of Manson NW Webster took the crown with Kaden Hanson Of Belmond-Klemme 2nd

132- Manson NW Webster’s Daniel Thoma took 1st, Eagle Grove’s Josh Graham was 2nd.

138- Remington Hanson of CGD took the title with Ian Kohnen of Manson finishing 2nd.

145- Mark Dawson Of Eagle Grove won the division with Reed Abbas of CGD 2nd/

152- CGD’s Garrett Seaba was 1st with Chris Krueger of Manson 2nd.

160- Grant Calmer of Manson was 1st with Thamas Melohn of Pocahontas Area 2nd

170- Connor Fehr of West Bend-Mallard was 1st and Cael Ahrens of CGD took 2nd.

182- Manson NW Webster’s Broadie Anderson won the title and Keaton Bindel of Pocahontas Area was 2nd.

195- John Schuttler of Manson NW Webster won it and Camden Hanson of CGD was 2nd.

220- Eagle Grove’s Joel Mendoza took the title and Kain Nelson of CGD was 2nd.

285 – Dane Johnson from Pocahontas Area won it and Logan Studer of West Bend-Mallard was 2nd.

Results From Woodbury Central – Moville

Kevin King of South Central Calhoun won the 113 crown.

East Sac County’s Nate Thomsen took 1st at 132.

South Central Calhoun’s Jordan Khommanyvong won the 138 title, his teammate Blake Mcalister won the the 160 title.

Sterling Rodman of ESC took 1st at 170.

Brian King from SCC took the 220 crown.

Kipp Corbin of ESC won the 285 pound crown.

South Central Calhoun finished 3rd in the team standings, East Sac County was 6th.
