Area Baseball Players Named To All District Teams By Coaches Association

Area baseball standouts have been recognized as All- District selections by the Baseball Coaches Association. A myriad of local players garnered the honor. Jed Tracy of St. Edmond was named 1st team, his teammates Cael Kolacia and Peyton Scott were 2nd team selections in Class 1A. Fort Dodge Senior standout Mason Bockoven was a 1st pick with Outfielder Tyler Schreir was selected to the 2nd team for class 4A. in Class 3A, The Humboldt duo of Jacob Thurm and Caden Matson were selected with Algona’s Cameron Rindone and Tyler Olson of Webster City. Pocahontas Area had 4 named to the class 2A team after a tremendous year. Those four included Christian Davidson, Chase Cook, Gavin Ehn and Trey Oehlertz. Newell- Fonda placed 5 players on the Class 1A team including Hogan Henrich, Hunter Christiansen, Trey Jungers and Tanner Gerke on the 1st team. Their teammate Gabe Sievers was a 2nd team selection.
