Area Softball and Baseball Report From The Weekend & Monday Schedule

The weekend saw some action for area teams, but it was limited in comparison to the weeknight schedule last week. Fort Dodge Softball had a road split in a double header at Dallas Center- Grimes. Dodgers took game 1, 10-0 and dropped game two 10-7. Southeast Valley Baseball was in action Saturday cruising past Southwest valley 11-1 at Patterson Field.

Monday Night will see several area teams back in action. Fort Dodge Softball hosts Des Moines-Roosevelt at Rogers Park for a double header, 1st pitch at 5 PM. Both of those games will be on “Sunny” 99.7 and here on our website. Southeast Valley Softball is in action hosting Pocahontas Area, Jags looking for the season sweep against Pocahontas Area.
