Area Sports Report From Tuesday: Gaels Softball Falls To Jags, Dodger Softball Cruises

In a game heard on “Sunny” 99.7 and here on our website, St. Edmond Softball fell to Southeast Valley 6-0 Tuesday Night at Rogers Park. It was Senior Night for St. Edmond and their lone Senior Jocy Timmerman was honored prior to the game. Southeast Valley led 2-0 through 6 innings and 3-0 in the 7th when 8th Grader Jordyn Rowley came to the plate.

Brian Peters on the call of the bases vlearing triple by Rowley, she had 3 hits and 5 RBI’s in the game. St. Edmond got doubles from Grace Neuberger and Ella Vratny on the night.

#1 Fort Dodge Softball cruised at Webster City Tuesday Night 16-0 in 4 innings. Dodgers scored 3 in the 1st, 2 in the 2nd, 5 in the 3rd and 6 in the 4th to win in convincing fashion. Sophomore Outfielder Malia Lwrey 3 for 3 on the night with 2 RBI’s. Jalen Adams the win in the cricle throwing 4 innings of no hit ball, she now has went 7 consecutive innings without allowing a hit. Dodgers host Mason City at Rogers Park for a double dip n Wednesday starting at 5 PM.
