Arrest Made After Monday Morning Robbery & Shooting In Fort Dodge

An arrest has been made following a Monday morning robbery and shooting in Fort Dodge. The Webster County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a man that had been shot at a residence on South 12th St. Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot. The man told deputies that three men forced entry into his home. The victim identified one of the suspects as 29 year old, Tyler S. Rosburg. The three suspects fled the scene in a vehicle prior to officers arriving. Minutes later, Chief Deputy Derek Christie spotted the suspect vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. The driver then led police on a pursuit through Fort Dodge. The driver then crashed on the Hawkeye Avenue Bridge near 2nd St Northwest. Rosburg was then taken into custody. He is charged with first degree robbery and possession of a firearm by a felon.  The victim was taken to Unity Point Hospital in Fort Dodge for treatment of his injuries.  The other two suspects have not been identified as of the time of this report.
