Community Health Center Fort Dodge Awarded Over $600,000

The U.S Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), through the Health Resources
and Services Administration (HRSA), awarded more than 1.3 billion to health centers in
response to the Coronavirus Disease. Community Health Center of Fort Dodge was one of
the 1,387 health centers to receive funding in the amount of $643,415.
“We are grateful to receive this funding and will put it to use in our community where we will
continue to provide our services during the COVID-19 pandemic and after it’s over” said
Renae Kruckenberg, CEO of Community Health Center of Fort Dodge. She went on to say “We have actually
expanded our hours to better serve the community during this time, funding helps us with
this.”
Community Health Center of Fort Dodge’s medical department has been open 7 days a
week 8 am – 5 pm since March 21 st . If you feel you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms
they ask that you call before coming into the clinic. In addition to increased hours they are
also able to provide Telehealth appointments and Carside Care. The dental department is
available for emergencies only and Behavioral Health services continue to be offered
Monday – Friday.
