Local infectious disease expert Dr. Megan Srinivas was named to the Atlantic Fellows For Health Equity for this year. The program selects 20 people from around the world who are working to improve health equity. The program this year was mostly held virtually but is one that encourages collaboration between selected medical professionals. Srinivas said of the program in a social media post “it was wan an amazing experience”. The program is a one year non-residential fellowship in collaboration with George Washington University’s Health Workforce Institute.
