FD School District Announces Fan Attendance Limit For Friday’s Homecoming Game

The Fort Dodge Community School District issued an online statement Monday Afternoon regarding fan attendance limits and covid-19 related restrictions for Friday’s Homecoming Game. That statement is below.

“Dodger Football Fans – In an effort to keep everyone healthy and safe, we will be following the CIML guidelines for this Friday’s home football game. Face coverings will be required to be worn by all spectators while inside Dodger Stadium. In addition, attendance will be limited to 2000 people. Each student participant (football, band, cheer, color guard and dance and members of the Homecoming court) will receive 3 vouchers. Individuals should bring their voucher to the game where it can be exchanged for admission with an activity ticket or by purchasing a game ticket. There will also be 1100 vouchers available for the general public. These vouchers can be picked up from the main west entrance of Senior High from 8 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday or until they are gone. They will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Each individual will be allowed to request up to 5 vouchers. Only individuals with a voucher will be allowed admission to Friday’s game. Walk up ticket sales will not be available. Fans will be expected to social distance in the stands, and some bleachers will be marked off as unavailable to assist with this. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our students, staff and families safe and healthy.”
