Former Dodgers Make It Historic Day For UNI Wrestling Sunday

It was a historic day for UNI Wrestling on Sunday. As UNI had four wrestlers in their lineup who wrestled together in high school. Sunday marked just the second time that has ever happened in Iowa. Four Former Fort Dodge wrestlers are now history makers after being in the line up in wins over South Dakota State and North Dakota State. Panthers downed South Dakota State 28-13 and North Dakota State 27-11. The former Dodgers now wrestling for UNI are Brody Teske, brothers Cayd & Tristan Lara and Drew Bennett. Teske who transferred to UNI after originally going to Penn State went 2-0 on the day as did Tristan Lara. Cayd Lara and Drew Bennett dropped both of their bouts on Sunday.
