Fort Dodge Man Arrested On Drug Charges

26 year old Fort Dodge resident Eric W. Gambill was arrested Tuesday on drug charges. Gambill faces 5 counts of failure to affix a drug stamp and 5 counts of intent to manufacture/deliver under  50 kilos of  marijuana. Around 9:45 PM Tuesday Fort Dodge Police were sent to a residence on 4th Ave. North for a welfare check and they also discovered Gambill had outstanding warrants. Police did not locate anyone inside the residence but did discover what was believed to have been marijuana plants and other equipment used in growing marijuana. Officers obtained a search warrant and a search turned up marijuana plants and other equipment used in growing marijuana. Later officers with the Webster County Sheriff’s Office found and arrested Gambill in the 600 Block Of North 15th Street. Gambill made his initial court appearance Thursday. The Fort Dodge Police Dept. is continuing to investigate the incident.
