Fort Dodge Police Are Investigating Wednesday Night Armed Robbery

Police Are Investigating an armed robbery that happened late Wednesday Night here in Fort Dodge. According to a Thursday Morning press release from the Fort Dodge PD, the robbery occurred just before Midnight at the Casey’s General Store on North 15th St. Officers were dispatched after receiving a 911 hang up call from that location. Upon arrival officers discovered the robbery had just happened. Reports say a man entered the store, pulled a handgun on the clerk and demanded money. As of this time, Police say the only description of the suspect is that he was wearing dark clothing. No injuries were reported from the incident.
