Fort Dodge Police Investigating Early Friday Morning “Shots Fired” Incident

The Fort Dodge PD is investigating a “shots fired” incident that occurred Friday morning. Officers responded around 12:40 Am Friday, to a report of shots fired at the intersection of 9th Ave SW and 10th St SW.

Evidence of shots being fired was collected at the intersection. Officer found a vehicle on South 1st St that had been damaged by gunfire, they believe the vehicle was occupied when the damage occurred.

No injuries were reported and arrests had been made of the time of this report. Anyone with surveillance footage of the area or knowledge of the incident is urged to contact the Fort Dodge Police Dept.
