Fort Dodge Police Investigating Tuesday Morning Shots Fired Incident

The Fort Dodge police released a statement Tuesday afternoon regarding an ongoing investigation. Around 3 AM Tuesday morning police responded to calls of shots fired. The incident occurred in the 2800 Block of 10th Ave. North in Fort Dodge. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with a 34 year old man who indicated he was involved in a physical altercation. Allegedly, as the man began to leave the area another person involved began firing shots in his direction before leaving the scene. Officers spoke with witnesses and people believed to have been involved in the incident. Investigators continued to work the case Tuesday but no arrests had been made of the time of this report. No injuries were reported from the incident, Fort Dodge Police ask anyone with info to contact them.
