Fort Dodge QB/Safety Thorson Makes College Announcement

Fort Dodge Senior QB and Safety Asle Thorson made an announcement regarding his college future on Thursday. Thorson announced that he plans to continue to his football career at the college level. He has agreed to accept an offer as a preferred walk on at Iowa State. Thorson was selected this year tothe all state 2nd team in football.. Thorson has both a family lineage in terms of excelling in football and a lineage that ties to ISU. His father and grandfather were both all state football players at Fort Dodge in their playing days. As far as ISU, his sister Lehr is a swimmer in Ames and his uncle and Dodger Offensive Coordinator Nik Moser played at Iowa State.
