Gov. Reynolds Announces New Covid-19 Case And School Requirement Legislation

Governor Kim Reynolds held a press conference Monday afternoon. The Governor announced a new case of Covid-19 in the state. The new confirmed case is in Dallas County and brings the total of confirmed cases across Iowa to 23. The Governor also said that legislation will be considered to waive the requirements for schools to fulfill a certain amount of school days in the academic calendar. The Governor promised during Monday’s press conference that she would sign that legislation if it passes.
