Gov. Reynolds Thursday: Covid-19 Update, Increased Restrictions For Eastern Iowa, PSA With Ashton Kutcher

Governor Reynolds opened her Thursday press conference in normal fashion by giving an update on covid-19 cases around Iowa.

The IDPH has split Iowa into 6 regions for covid-19 assessment each region is scored on a 10 scale in terms of severity. Region 6 in Eastern Iowa which includes Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas inclined to a 10 thursday prompting the Governor to increase restrictions in only region 6.

The Governor then went on to talk about a new covid-19 related PSA the state is releasing featuring Ashton Kutcher.

Governor Reynolds then closed with these words of encouragement.
