Sunday marked 3 weeks since the 1st confirmed Covid-19 case in Iowa was announced. Governor Kim Reynolds in her press conference yesterday announced an additional 38 cases bringing the statewide total to 336. She also announced the 4th Covid-19 related death in the state from as a Linn County resident between 61-80 years old passed away over the weekend. Early in the press conference Governor Reynolds talked about the last 3 weeks for Iowans.

Reynolds then turned things over to Senator Joni Ernst who talked about the the work being done at the federal level to boost economic bounce back efforts. Ernst started by talking about citizens receiving direct payment from the U.S. Government.

The Senator went on to talk about federal funding increases to provide PPE to healthcare workers.
