Identity Of Victim In Monday’s Murder Has Been Released

The identity of the victim in Monday’s murder here in Fort Dodge has been released. The victim has been identified as 45 year old Angela K. Mcleod. She was found unresponsive when officers arrived at a residence on North 14th St Monday morning and was pronounced dead. The Fort Dodge Police were dispatched shortly after 9 AM Monday to a respond to a call about an altercation at the home. The Police arrested 28 year old Fort Dodge resident Mark D. Russell and charged him with 1st degree murder. Police believe that Russell grabbed an object from the residence and used it as a weapon striking the victim.
