Iowa Central Softball Players Garner All Region Honors
Several Iowa Central Softball players have garnered All-Region selections. Former Fort Dodge standout Loghen Schnetzer was named to the 1st team. She set single season school records for home runs and RBI’s.
Her teammates Maddy Lange and Carlie Thompson were also 1st team selections. Those two were high school teammates at Humboldt before coming to Iowa Central.
Lange was the regular starter behind the plate and hit nearly .350 on the season and stole over 20 bases. Thompson hit .358, belting nine homers and driving nearly 50 runs on the year.
Abby Wilson, Kenzie Rosenboom and Abbie Thilges all were named 2nd team All Region.
Madison Huisman, Rachel Newell, Allyson Stewart, Laila Pelds and Mikhaela Muir all earned Honorable Mention honors.
