Iowa Central Volleyball Drops Match In National Semi’s, Still Guaranteed Historic Finish

Iowa Central Volleyball fell just short of making the NJCAA Finals. The Tritons fell to Parkland Wednesday night in the National Semifinals. Parkland won in straight sets 25-22 in the 1st, 25-17 in the 2nd and 3rd.

It was the first trip in program history to the National Semifinals for Iowa Central. For perernial power Parkland, they’ll advance to the National Finals for the 6th time in the last 7 years. They’ll look to capture their 3rd national title in the last 4 years.

Iowa Central is now 21-4 and they have one game left. Tritons will face Illinois Central on Thursday for 3rd place. Win or lose, Iowa Central is guaranteed their highest finish in program History.
