Jamar’s Owner Confirms Employee Tested Positive For Covid-19

Jamar’s Drive In here in Fort Dodge has closed for this week, owner Jerry Jordison has confirmed the closure is due to an employee testing positive for covid-19. Jordison says the last time the employee was in the restaurant was last Friday and he didn’t know at the time the employee had been exposed to covid-19. After hearing that the employee had been exposed to the virus he directed the employee to stay home. As a preemptive measure Jordison requested that all his employees who had contact with the person be tested. The results of those tests are pending and should be back later this week. Jordison praised the work of local health officials who granted his requests to have his employees tested. Jordison says the restaurant will remain closed this week and he plans to re-open on Monday. Jordison says the restaurant will be thoroughly disinfected prior to the re-opening.
