Man Accused Of Murdering His Wife Enters Not Guilty Plea

A Webster County man has entered a not guilty plea to a murder charge. 43 year old Fort Dodge resident Justin hurdel is charged with 1st Degree Murder after police say he killed his estranged wife Maggie Flint. The alleged incident happened August 5th and Hurdel was arrested on August 6th. Police located him after a search of over 16 hours. According to court records, Hurdel had been charged with domestic assault on Flint in the past. Flint had told police of threats on her life made by Hurdel last fall. Hurdel entered a not guilty plea Monday to 1st Degree Murder, his trial is scheduled for December.
