Mother & Son Enter Not Guilty Pleas To Charges Stemming From U.S. Capitol Riots
A mother and son from Iowa have entered not guilty pleas on charges stemming for the riots at the U.S. Capitol in January. Deborah Sandoval and her son Salvador Sandoval Jr. of Ankeny were in court last Friday.
Deborah faces five charges stemming from the riots and Salvador faces 13 charges. All of their charges are federal. Attorney for the Sandovals say they plan to vigorously defend every charge.
The mother/son tandem is expected back in court in May.
