New Online Option To Help Iowa Small Businesses During Holiday Shopping Season

Small Business Saturday is set for November 28th, the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It’s the 1st holiday for “Shop Iowa” a new online marketplace. Shop Iowa helps connect small businesses locally and acorr Iowa to customers. Currently the marketplace features over 150 different small businesses in the state. It offers shoppers a way to support locally-owned businesses from the comfort and safety of their own home during the pandemic. Shop Iowa gives retailers especially ones who didn’t previously have an online presence an opportunity to showcase their business. Shopper can find a variety of goods to fit their needs on the online marketplace. The National Retail Federation’s recent survey says that 96% of retailers nationwide can expect an increase in online sales this holiday season.
