RAGBRAI Riders Roll Through Fort Dodge Trying To Beat The Heat

RAGBRAI Fort Dodge is now in the books. The overnight stop was a success with a reported 15,000 plus riders rolling through town.

Dave Morris is a rider from orange City making his 1st ride in the event. He talked about how he’s been combating the heat.

With expected heat indices, as high as 105-110 today and tomorrow, RAGBRAI riders will be pushed to the limit. Veteran rider, James Townsend of South Dakota, says over the years he’s learned how to adjust to the conditions.

Californian Juan Ramos is making his 5th ride and says he’s learned from past experiences with heat exhaustion.
