State Auditor Rob Sand Considering Run For Governor

State Auditor Rob Sand was in Fort Dodge on Tuesday. Sand held a town hall meeting in the City Square. Sand mentioned during that town hall that he is considering a run for Governor, but hasn’t fully decided as of yet.

During that meeting, he said the primary focus for his office continues to be holding public officials around Iowa accountable.

Sand went on to say that his office will be examining a state funded program in the upcoming future.

The stop in Fort Dodge is part of a 99 county tour of Iowa for Sand. He made other stops in the area on Tuesday as well including Clarion, Webster City, and Boone.
