The Fort Dodge Police responded to a report of a stabbing over the weekend. Dispatch received a report of a stabbing just before 11 PM Saturday night. Officers arrived at Kingz Lounge in Fort Dodge and found a 41 year old male who had a stab wound in his back. Witnesses told police that an individual had been removed from the establishment and once that individual went outside an altercation between him and Kingz Lounge security ensued. During the altercation a staff member was stabbed once in the back. The victim was taken to Unity Point- Trinity Regional for treatment of his injuries. Police later arrested 25 year old Antonio Vallejo and 24 year old Esteban Huete both of Humboldt as a result of the investigation. Huete is charged with misdemeanor assault and Vallejo is charged with felony willful injury causing bodily injury. The investigation indicates that Huete and the victim were in the intial altercation and Vallejo involved himself and allegedly stabbed the victim.
