Webster County Public Health Covid-19 Update from Friday
Webster County’s cumulative COVID-19 positive case count increased by 25 cases from Tuesday’s report, leading to a total of 1,081 cases.
720 of these cases are within our Webster County communities. 659 individuals have met the public health requirements for recovery and have been released from isolation. 61 cases remain open and are being monitored by public health.
361 cases could be attributed to Fort Dodge Correctional Facility. All 361 individuals met the public health requirements for recovery and were released from isolation. There are currently no new cases at FDCF.
The age breakdown for Webster County’s cumulative case count is as follows: 50 children (0-17), 524 adults (18-40), 326 middle-aged adults (41-60), 154 older adults (61-80), 27 elderly (81+).
Webster County Public Health continues to recommend that residents wear a mask, especially when social distancing isn’t possible and you aren’t sure of the exposure risk of those around you.
