Webster County has seen an increase in covid-19 cases since the middle of last week. Last Wednesday Afternoon (July 1st) Webster County Public Health reported 191 positive cases. As of Monday Morning (July 6th) the state’s website is reporting 220 cases in Webster County. The majority of those cases are people in the 18-40 age range in fact 53% of Webster County’s total cases are in that age range. 28% are between 41-60 years old, 11% are ages 61-80, 6% are children under 18 and 2% are elderly adults over 80. Webster County has had two covid-19 related deaths. The state’s website is reporting as of Monday morning that the county has had 4,300 negative tests.
