13 Year Old Killed in Two Vehicle Accident in Webster County

There was no break leading into the Thanksgiving holiday for emergency crews in Webster County as Life Flight was called to the scene of a fatal accident Wednesday that took the life of a 13 year old boy.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident that took the life of 13 year old Kyle Hilbert happened after a vehicle driven by 37 year old Logan Christianson failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the vehicle driven by 33 year old Sara Sanga of Hardy. Both vehicles entered the ditch. Hilbert was killed in the accident, funeral announcements are pending at Gunderson Funeral Home. 

Sanga was taken by Life Flight to Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. The driver of the other vehicle, 37 year old Logan Christianson of Eagle Grove was taken to the hospital in Fort Dodge.

The ISP was assisted by the Webster County Sheriff’s Department, Webster County EMS, Thor Fire Department, Badger Fire Department and Fort Dodge Fire and Rescue.
