St. Edmond Board Names New 6-12th Principal

The St. Edmond Catholic School Board has named Maurice (Maury) Ruble as the district’s next 6-12 principal.
As middle school and high school principal in the Ogden CSD, Ruble has initiated agriculture and Future Farmers of America programs, as well as a robotics team and elective robotics class. Additionally, Ruble oversaw the consolidation of the grades 6-8 and 9-12 buildings into a single 6-12 building during the 2019-20 school year.

Ruble holds a master’s degree in education/administration and supervision from the University of Phoenix. Previously, he served as assistant principal and activities director of Bondurant-Farrar High School.

After accepting the offer, Maury stated, “I am deeply grateful and humbled by the opportunity to serve as the 6-12 principal at St. Edmond Catholic School. It is an honor to be entrusted with such an important role in shaping the lives of our students, and I look forward to working with the entire school community to provide the best possible education and faith-based leadership for our young people. My family and I could not be more excited to join the St. Edmond Family.”

Board members worked with Grundmeyer Leader Services to conduct the search. Ruble interviewed with interview groups consisting of parents, teachers, and community members on January 31, 2024.

Ruble will officially begin leading St. Edmond Catholic School effective July 1, 2024.
