Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram will be One of Two Iowa Officers Honored this Friday for His Service and Sacrifice

Two Iowa police officers will be honored on this Friday for making the ultimate sacrifice.

The names of Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram and Des Moines Police Officer Phoukham Tran will be added to the Iowa Peace Officer Memorial that morning.

Cram was in law enforcement for ten years at the time that he was shot and killed September 2023 while attempting to serve an arrest warrant.

Tran was a Des Moines Police Officer for over 30 years

He was hit by a drunk driver in 2011 while on duty outside the Iowa State Fair. He passed away in November.
