Change of Venue Approved for Fort Dodge Man Accused of Killing Baby
Thomas and Blaha Webster County

The trial for a man accused of killing his newborn daughter and desecrating her body is being moved to eastern Iowa. 

A judge agreed to move Brandon Thoma’s trial to Davenport.

Thoma and the baby’s mother, Taylor Blaha, are each charged with first-degree murder. Police say Thoma hid the child’s body after the couple drowned her in a bathtub last November.

 

Thoma’s trial is set for August. 8.

Blaha goes to trial in Webster County in September.
