Death Investigation Is Underway in Fort Dodge Following Sunday Night Fatal Shooting

When officers arrived on scene, they located one unresponsive male with multiple gunshot wounds. Officers began life-saving efforts on the male, until medics with the Fort Dodge Fire Department arrived. The male was ultimately pronounced deceased on scene. The deceased males name will not be released at this time until we are certain all next of kin have been properly notified.

At this time investigators are working to determine exactly what took place this evening, to include exploring all avenues as to how this incident unfolded.
