A go fund me account has been established for a local mother and daughter who are in the fight of their lives.

In January Jess Johnson was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. The news was a shock but it was not the worst of it as just a month later the unimaginable happened. Her daughter Jordan Messerly was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma, stage 2, triple negative cancer.

Jess will be off work for 6-8 weeks as she is scheduled for a double mastectomy on March 27th with reconstructive surgery in August.

Jordan will undergo 5 months of chemotherapy starting this week. Once the chemo treatments are completed they will do a double mastectomy followed by radiation therapy and reconstructive surgery.

This family has a long road ahead of them and could use all the support possible to ease the burden.
